Cooking doesn’t have to feel overwhelming to still feel special

While plenty of obstacles stand between you and a delicious home-cooked meal, being short on time is probably the biggest one. To eliminate that issue, Caroline has written 100 of her fastest — and tastiest! — recipes yet.

Make It Fast is divided into three chapters: a 15-minute chapter, a 30-minute chapter, and a chapter called “Walk Away.” Walk Away recipes take 30 minutes or less of active cook time, and at least an hour of inactive cook time, so that you can truly walk away and go take care of something else while a fabulous dinner cooks itself. Meanwhile, the 15- and 30-minute chapters are just that: meals that can be made within

those tight timeframes on even the most jam-packed weeknights.

Like in her latest cookbook, What to Cook When You Don’t Feel Like Cooking, and her chart-topping Substack newsletter of the same name, Make It Fast is full of riffs, ingredient swap ideas, and make-ahead notes. It also includes ideas for how to level up a recipe when you’re in the mood to do more (those tips are labeled “extra extra”).

If you’re a busy person who loves good food, Make It Fast was written for you, and will help fill your table with stress-free meals you’ll want to make again and again.

Text reads: "what to cook when you don’t feel like cooking. make it fast. book tour." Text is in large, bold, blue font on a white background.
